Jim is having trouble posting to the reflector so he asked me to forward
this for him.

Howdy, Group.

My KX3-k (at the time with all available options) w/S/N 2917, was purchased
11/21/2012 under S.O. No. 2255-6012-3699.

I never noticed this little "fluke" before but now this morning, I
did
.  It started to "rocking" when it was on a flat desk top.  Nothing I could
do would eliminate this "rocking".  Upon further examination I found the
L.H. Rear Foot was the culprit.  I happened to have had one of the proper
feet "in stock" so I then replaced the bad one with the one "in stock" and
wahla ( - or however you spell it.  ), all is well now.  I even tried to
bend this L.H. Foot but to no avail.  I just thought I would ask the
question here and see what response I'd get and see if anyone else has had
or is having the same problem.

While I have yall's attention; each of these rear feet requires a washer and
Phillips Head nylon screw be installed in them.  Well, I had to get a #2-56
Tap and "trace" the screw threads on both of both rear feet items before I
could install the Nylon screws.  I just thought I'd throw that in here so
when someone contemplating purchasing a KX3-k got their kit they MAYBE could
expect the same thing.  This is the only snafu I encountered although I must
say the toughest part of assembling my KX3 was installing the Speaker.

Best 72 & 73.
