I found (and I can't remember where) a molded cable that had a 3.5mm TRS stereo
plug and two longish cables with RCA connectors, one for each speaker. I cut
the RCA connectors off. Look for a cable that you can peel apart all the way
to the 3.5mm plug.

You can of course solder this up yourself, but molded plugs seem to survive
better at my station.

Subject: [Elecraft] external speakers

I am trying to install a pair of KLH 970A outboard spkrs to my K3. The back
panel of the radio has one ⅛" stereo phone jack. The speakers have a + and -
output on each speaker. My question, as dumb as it sounds is, how do I connect
the wires from the speakers to the lone ⅛" stereo plug?

thanks
