While "the cloud" is supposed to be secure, I have my doubts. The only thing I would consider committing to the cloud would possibly be encrypted off-site backup data, but for now, my RAID file server serves that purpose quite nicely, although it does not offer me off-site backup storage in case of a major disaster. I can write my backup data periodically to DVDs and keep them at a different location should I deem that necessary.
