I obtained a well built plain K2 that has normal power out and receive on all bands except 17m. On 17m power is very low at .1watt and power control has no effect. I hear a clean signal on my other receiver but faint. On receive the K2 does receive but signals are 9 to 10 s-units down. As an aside, the filters need alignment. I have just started reading the manual and am interested in being able to maintain this my dream HF rig.
