How wide would the passband be? Are we going to cover everything from MF to 6m?

The A-D converter is going to have to convert everything coming in, and the DSP is going to have to sort out what you want out of everything coming in: broadcast, other services, noise 50 MHz wide, and who knows what else.

I'd rather have the DSP concentrate on a smaller bandwidth signal, and have the processing power available for the few MHz I care about at any given time.
