Ed,
Check your DSP filter bandwidth (glance at the icon in the display).
The default width for DATA A is 400 Hz as I recall, but it should stay
at the settings you last used. For use with a waterfall display (as in
DM780), you will want to set the width to something like 300 to 2600 Hz.
