Referring to operating frequency calibration: Page 41 of the manual reads, "In the case of the internally generated signal, tap W P M + or W P M - until the display reads 99.7." Page 58 refers to "internally-generated band edge signals". I also noticed the K2 manual mentions the "internally generated signal" on page 57. I can't seem to find it. Does the K1 really have an internally generated signal? After 50+ years in "non-active status" I recently finished building #3252 and have made several contacts including Columbus, OH, Austin, TX and Paris (France). I'm very happy with my new rig. My CW is a little rusty, but will improve with practice.
