Not bad advice. Norton is extremely hard to remove by yourself. Add/remove does not do it. You need to go to Norton's site and pull a program that removes it (at least it says it does) from all of the registry entries and cleans things up. I still have it on one of my computers, because it is needed for some other things. But, I've gone with AVG on everything else. Norton has WAY too much overhead and slows the computer down considerably.
