The Pelican 1500 is just a bit too short to hold a K3 + a P3. (I tried it.)

I have used Pelican cases to carry cameras into caves for many years. If you don't worry too much about the finish on the cameras and other photo gear, just pack them in tightly with the case's foam around the outside and they will survive being banged around, dropped, sat on etc. Probably radios will also survive with the possibility of loosened connectors if the case is banged around, for example by airline luggage handlers.
