Probably because I design Human Interfaces (hardware and software) for a
living, this was my first impression.  I was simply navigating up or down a
stack of LEDs.  I never thought about the buttons in terms of wavelength or
frequency.

But I'll admit that despite hamming it up for 43 years, I still don't feel
comfortable calling 160 meters "The Top Band" and can never think of 70 cm
as my personal "Bottom Band". I've always thought in terms of frequency,
like QSY.  Up to me means increasing frequency not reducing the wavelength.
