Hi Folks, I have recently purchased the OM2500A amplifier but am confused about the lead I need to make up for connection to the amplifier. The OM Amp has a 15way D 2 row connector and the Elecraft K3 has a 15way D 3 row connector. I have the screened cable and the correct plugs etc but am unsure of the terminology used in the two manuals as to what wires go where, and as you can imagine, am a little worried about how to connect them.
The OM Power pin out is as follows: 1:ALC Out 2:NC 3:Inhibit Control Voltage 4:TX Inhibit for Yaesu and Elecraft - this supersedes ALC output 5:NC 6:Key Out 7:NC 8:Key in 9:- 15:Ground I have not listed the pin out of the K3 as I assume anyone with a common interest will have the manual. I would be most grateful if someone would Elmer me here because 232 coms is simple provided the terminology used is the same. Elecraft us a whole different list of Pin outs on their socket on the back of the K3, and I don't want to get it wrong.
