As far as satellite use, I think your question has been answered, although
perhaps, not satisfyingly so! This is a valid point for R&D.
I am personally happy to see the progression of such transverters! I hope to
as soon {as economically feasible} see transverters for 1.2, 2.3, 3.2, 5.6
GHz etc, etc. Oh yea, 902 MHz too!
