Yes and no. When you switch the mains power back on, the microcontroller should recognize the front panel power button press and be able to connect to software via its serial port. The KPA Utility should be able to reconnect; use its port tab "Test Communications" button. If the KPA500 has mains power, the Utility should indicate that the Amp is ready for firmware load or power on. After that reconnection, the KPA Utility Operate tab has a power button that should simulate pressing the Amp front panel power button.
