The best solution that I can offer is to replace it with a TFT (LCD)
monitor.  Takes up a lot less space on the operating desk and does not
generate so much trash in the RF spectrum.  I suffered from the same thing
for a long time and finally just bit the bullet and bought one - I have been
very pleased.
