Thanks to Bill NR4C for this idea. I tried it and the result was to hear the commercial radio station loudly, but still no amateur radio.

This morning I removed the computer hookups, removed the KXPA100 via the menu following Matt's suggestion, got the latest firmware, and tried to receive SSB, but nothing is heard.
