Good Evening,
Spring is gradually awakening the plants and bringing more birds each day. The local marsh is noisy with the frogs, toads, and water fowl. Even though it is warming there have been few sunny hours during the week; mostly shades of grey with many showers and a few ice pellet storms, not really hail just tiny bits of ice of uniform size. My wood pile needs replenishment. The previous fall's collection was a bit lacking. Next dry day I'll have to gather some of the wood stacked out in the forest.

Propagation has been up and down. On Friday it was way down to the point where it broke a long standing sked. Between the active sun and the change in season twenty meters is changing daily. Last weekend the band had more fading than usual with light QSB. Forty meters gained a few more thunderstorms so the noise level was higher than during the winter months however, for most of the folks who check in on both bands, it was stronger. It seemed to reach further than normal too.

Please join us tomorrow.
