Perhaps subscribing to the Yahoo Group for Elecraft might be a wiser choice for getting information for David than this list which is extremely hard to follow even if you think you know what you're doing.
David, the K3 will be just fine for normal use. You will be happy with it. It is the best all round cw rig you can buy. I still believe that.
