Hi everyone,

I have a W2 Watt meter and 2KW sensor that I haven't used for some time. I
loaned it out to a club mate who reported it DOA. The unit self-tests OK
and I've swapped the 8 way RJ45 cable for an out of the packet new one.
I've tested it thoroughly on my bench and have found a few issues that I
would like help resolving:

When the sensor is plugged into port 1 I get full scale (high) SWR with no
rf applied. When RF is applied no forward power is registered.

When I plug the sensor into port 2, the meter functions, but 100W input
from my K2 is reported as 80W. I have checked the K2 with other power
meters and the all say 100W +/- 5%. The W2 also reports an SWR of 1.5:1
when I use any of my dummy loads (or antennas!). They can't all be bad on
every HF band!

It looks like I may have two issues - a duff connector on S1 and
potentially a calibration issue with the sensor? Does that sound
reasonable? What action can I take to fix that as the W2 is not designed to
be user serviceable? I am happy working with SMDs though!
