With all due respect, you already received the answer here. Yes, you can connect the Signal Link to the front panel mic connector. Just pad the audio output of the SL to a mic level, instead of line level. Also, you won't be able to get audio output from the K3 back to the SignalLink via that jack. The RX audio of the K3 is not available there (see the manual). So you would need another cable from line out on the back for that anyway.
So... it would be easist to just patch it in via the back (via your rack of signal shaping/mixing gear), as has been suggested.
