In my case, the arrows I shoot up into and over trees always land on my property and I am the only one on my property at the time. So, not much chance of hurting anyone. I don't think my bow has enough power to launch an arrow off of my property. Not that my property is that great, more that my bow is not that powerful (30 lb maximum pull). It is just good enough to launch up into and over my trees. I have never had an arrow get hung up in branches in all of my experience with the bow.
