Yes I guess I was not totally informed. I took the suggestions from the book and translated it to mean low power. I read the user guide for jt65hf and it said in part " Running at full output power is seldom necessary or desirable due to the incredible sensitivity of JT65. Most users find 5 to 10 watts (or less) highly effective and 25 to 30 watts is considered 'high power'. Now 6 meter and vhf, uhf I can see high power. I have a ZS6BKW inv vee at 40 and I work the world on 10 watts.
