Yes, it is that simple. Also, RTFM for the Tascam unit so that it's set to do what you need, and for the K3 to make sure you're connecting to the right connector pins. Most of these units have a pot that "pans" the Output from the Input (max CCW) to the Computer (max CW). For simple USB I/O for ham radio, we want max CW.
