In what way doesn’t it work on RTTY? Just not decoding? That could be an upper/lower sideband issue. After properly tuning an RTTY signal, click the RV (reverse) button on the bottom right and see if that corrects the decode. If so, you need some properly set up the K3 for decode on the band in question, or use fldigi to get it right (DATA vs. DATA-R) in the box to the upper right of the frequency readout.
Of course, it could be other issues, but that’s the first that comes to mind. Generally data modes all operate on USB but the K3 doesn’t necessarily follow that, depending on your settings. I’m not sure about RTTY, whether it is USB on all bands or not. But anyway, changing the RV button will tell you if that is the issue.
