I don't have any idea whether this is possible or desired by many but wouldn't it be neat to be able to interrogate each of the boards in the K3 and it would respond with each board's model or version number? That way, when a new piece became available, you could quickly tell if your particular transceiver/s needed the update.
Perhaps the interrogation could be done via the K3 Utility software. I know something like this would be a big help to me.
