Right. It was the relationship between BFO and VFO I was missing. Nevertheless, I followed the procedure last night and it seems to have worked.
I admit that it took three goes until I got the knack of adjusting C22 correctly, but it worked. I knew it would but I like to understand how rather than just taking it on trust. Thanks (again), Don.
