Seems to me that if Elecraft is selling it, they must think highly of
it. Further, they will no doubt stand behind it if there is a problem. I
plan to purchase one to replace a 35 year old Astron. The size and
weight really attract me. That old Astron is the weight of a car
battery. 4 lbs. sounds good to me.
