Tried it. In fact, not only did I try the one that connects to my K3/P3, I 
tried a spare that I use occasionally for my KAT500. Neither of the three allow 
the PX3 & KX3 pair to work if the PX3 has power. If I power off the PX3, then 
the KX3 signal flows to the iMac like it did yesterday. Arrghhhhh....... :-(
