K2 SN 5295 is alive and well! Had first 2 QSOs this morning (Indiana and Oregon) on 20 CW with an indoor dipole. Build and alignment process was smooth, methodical and quite enjoyable. No glitches at all. Thanks to all of you on the Elecraft reflector for the good advice! Now working on internal tuner so I can load my random wire on other bands. Limited to stealth antennas here, so don't look for a booming signal, but I hope to eventually make contacts on 160 thru 10. After the tuner, the 160 meter option, the noise blanker and the DSP await ;>) I used the "rework eliminators" for the options that I have, and that went well also. Will post a more detailed evaluation of that approach after I build and install the options.
