---------------- I was speaking of transformers such as those used in RF circuits like the Elecraft rigs, not power transformers; Any situation where two or more windings occur on the same core. They are not subjected to the electrical or thermal stresses of motors or power transformers, but good electrical insulation between the windings is just as important as in any other type of transformer.
