I have a K3S and am enjoying my sojurn into the world of HF. At present I have no 2m 70cm or portable capability and am listening to the digital discussion. I had considered the internal 2m option and the transverters to expand the K3. Possibly a KX3 for portable operation.
This would be my preferred option rather than lots of different systems and manufacturers.
