I'm the proud owner of four K3 radios at my contest station and one of my new K3 (89XX) is doing something different than the other three and I'm trying to understand what it's doing.
In the diversity mode as I change the width control and reach the selection points for different CW filters to be selected I hear what sounds like two (one after the other) clicks of what I'm guessing is the two new filters being selected as the width is either decreased of increased. This same dual clicking sounds happen at each filter selection point. What's weird is that the other three K3 radio don't do this. Is it a different configuration setting? If so, what is the configuration setting? This same radio doesn't make any clicking sound when changing the width control, filters when it's NOT in diversity mode. Any ideas of what happening and why?
