Just tried to do the ( PARAMETER INITALIZATION ) per the manul... when powering on a holding shift-lo knob in I get EE INT, norm, hi sig one message, one after another..
still locked up. looks like I might have to send it to the boys at Elecraft. hope I can do the repair myself if not to involved.
