First question:   Did you plug in the speaker lead to the connector on the KIO3 
board in the rear of the box before you replaced the screws?  

I use external speakers and I forgot this step sometime last spring.  Didn't 
realize it until Field Day when we do use the internal speaker.   Don't 
remember why I was inside the case but........  Easy fix.
