My whole KX3 station, antenna wire and all, fits in an ammo can. The Creative Labs SB X-Fi Go! fits in just fine along with a couple of 3.5mm m-m cables. The X-Fi is a small USB dongle, about the size of a flash drive. It's a good compromise between size and performance, and it isn't expensive.
