Hi all,
Thanks for the feedback on my problem. I had just inserted a wattmeter
between my KAT100 and KPA100 in the EC2 case. So I immediately suspected
that. But when I removed it the buzz remained. The Astron VS-35M is close
to my EC2 but never had a problem before. I was about to run the rig from
golf cart batteries when it suddenly hit me. That morning I had plugged
between the AC line and the VS-35M an ICE Model 475 "AC Line RFI/Noise
Filter & Overvoltage assembly", that I had purchased at the local hamfest
for $2. I even took it apart to inspect it. Its in an aluminum case.
When I removed this device, the buzz went away. Its located about 6 feet
away from the EC2 and K2.

So now I have a nice $2 aluminum case for my next QRP project. ;8)

Thanks again,
Steve, W2MY
