My KXPD3 paddle (which I purchased used) is prone to miss depressions of either side, usually at the worse time in a QSO. There was an early fix by Elecraft which by inspection I believe was installed. Assertive? I have to pound on the paddles much harder than I would like to avoid missing one or more character elements.
