I think what Jorge might have been inferring is, LOTW doesn't have the same capability as a log checker would to make a judgment that a two way contact could not have been made on 160m between a station in Chicago at 12 noon Chicago time and say Australia. What's to say a couple hams might have coordinated together to falsely upload a contact as mentioned to finish off an award? The times and frequency and calls match, confirmed contact. Most hams would not even think of doing this. But, just as is the human condition in life, cheating happens. I'm sure it happens to some % in the ham community as well.
