I am not sure what my KX2 has been doing but it seemed "deaf at times" I have operated nothing but the simplest kit built rigs for 15 years so the KX2 has a bunch of stuff Im not sure of yet.
I just this morning upgraded the software to the latest version. It seems to hear really well I worked a guy in TX and he was gangbusters at 5 watts.
