I would like to hear from some "oldsters" out there who have built the K1. I just had my second cataract removed about 2 hours ago and have been thinking quite a bit lately about buying the K1. I'm at age 70. Any of you in a similar situation within the last year or so who have built this radio or even the K2? I would appreciate any comments I can get on this topic.
