I have got the habit now on my K2 of turning off the AGC, cranking up the AF gain and then using the RF gain to control the volume because the AGC has too much effect on the receiver. I thumbed through the manual and didn't find any obvious way of adjusting the it. How would I go about reducing the AGC's effect? The current AGC setting has little or no effect on the noise when, with an antenna connected and no signal, I turn the AGC off and on but it has a large effect on moderate and strong signals.
