I'm looking into possibly getting involved in MARS. The guy that runs it locally sent the following question about the KX3: Can the Elecraft KX3 be opened to permit full operation from 1.8mHz to 29.9999 mHz and do they have installed TCXO (0.5%) frequency stability or the ability to install the hardware. MARS requires frequency accuracy/stability to be +/- 20Hz of center frequency on assigned channels for transmit. Is this possible with the KX3? If so how?
