Hi - I'm getting outfitted for K2 # 5422. Holy moly - so far I bent a lead over soldering in control board's U10, and dropped the LCD display onto a tile floor, cracking the seam. What's a fella to do? Parts guys are coming to my rescue.
I secured a auto-ranging Digital MM and a ESD static pad and wrist strap - to further help in this "kit" journey! Solder sucker and brad and mag lamp - are somewhere in UPS's system. Question: I'm measuring resistances on Control Board, ala page 21 table. On a few measurements, I'm getting MUCH higher resistances than table indicates: U6 pin 13 supposed to be > 100k got INFINITE U6 pin 14 supposed to be > 100k got INFINITE U6 pin 29 & 30 to be > 70k got 85k U8 pin 2 to be > 100k got 6.6meg U8 pin 15 & 16 to be > 100k got INFINITE Do these readings sound reasonable?
