Somewhat related story, I studied DSP at Rice University. When interviewing for a job (which I got), my future boss asked why on Earth I had taken an analog filters course. I told him that I knew how digital filters worked, and I wanted to know the analog side. I guess that was good enough for him, even though he had worked to make that course non-required when he was a professor. Also, my digital circuits prof was a working engineer at TI. His mantra was “digital circuits are made of analog components”. wunder K6WRU Walter Underwood CM87wj http://observer.wunderwood.org/ (my blog) ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[email protected] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html Message delivered to [email protected]
