Yep, bare wires. It took me by surprise as well (yesterday) but I just followed the directions exactly and all was fine.
Also, there is a thermistor board that you'll have to build and install, again using 8 bare wires. That operation was a bit of a pain since the board is so small and I have no 3rd hand. When you do that board, keep components flat and your solder joints thin and flat against the board. You'll want this thing to be skinny enough to fit in between other components. - Keith KD1E - - K2 5411 - -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Bob Towers Sent: Thursday, March 30, 2006 9:12 AM To: Fred (FL) Cc: Elecraft@mailman.qth.net Subject: Re: [Elecraft] K2 Encoder - bare wires? Fred, I read it as bare wires and installed accordingly. 73 Bob 2M0KDZ #5339 _______________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Post to: Elecraft@mailman.qth.net You must be a subscriber to post to the list.
