Use SPE amps as a baseline for features and learning curve. - QSK Preferably PIN diodes - Remote capability like the KPA500 but with more monitoring capability so I can put the amp in the basement alongside the KPA500. - SO2R capability built in - 2 rig inputs - 4-6 antenna outputs programmable and easily switchable - Low distortion LDMOS - single ended or two for push-pull. Max of two MOSFETS. - Switching supply naturally - Optional built-in tuner that can handle at least 3:1. Amp without tuner can handle at least 2:1 SWR without fold back on power. - 1500W key down for digital on 160-6M - Separate or combined amp/PS depends on size and weight. - Amp/tuner tracks K3 receive for pre-tuning. - some form of pre-distortion control to keep the amp clean at full output.
