When I was plugging and unplugging stubs and traps chasing the broadcast interference problem and testing mitigations, it got a lot easier when I add a bunch of adapters to make the process attaching a BNC instead of a UHF. UHF connectors seem easier to fit onto 1/2 inch coax though.
