Nice idea! Before Elecraft steps-in to this PA market, I am using with great success and pleasure the Chinese MiNiPa50,:) AT 5-6 W in from the Kx2 it yealds clean and healthy 45-50 W output on the 80-20m bands and around 40W on higher bands. 6,6A current consumption at 13-14V. No 6 m , no ATU though. ( For the ATU I use the famous Elecrat T-1, yes, it can stand up to 40 W , just do not tune at this power level, :)) At the price of approx 150 USD it is very good value for money, I think.
