I put a ProAudioEngineering heatsink on my KX3.  Can’t comment on the Windcamp 
stuff.

The Elecraft enhanced heatsink comes off relatively easily if you use some 
heat.  PAE recommends a hair dryer.  I used my heat gun from a large enough 
distance not to overheat the powder coat finish on the KX3.  Just warm it up 
slowly and the adhesive will soften.  It will still require some manual labor — 
I used one of my plastic iPhone pry tools to work it off and prevent case 
damage.
