Hi,

I use a program called SBSpectrum to graph very subtle changes in Doppler of the Ionosphere, while using WWV as a standard. The changes are on the order of only a few Hz at most.

I have noted the K3 makes frequency corrections every few minutes in discrete steps. These steps are too large for what I want.

If I add an external frequency standard, like a GPSDO, will the K3 still display these steps in frequency correction, or will the K3 simply lock to the external signal source and not move in frequency?

I asked this once before about a year ago, and got an answer, but I have forgotten that answer... Sorry for the repeat question.
