Mike:

Just curious, are you using any type of voltage cut off circuit between the battery and KX1?

I use lithiums in my R/C planes and I set my speed controls for a cut off voltage of 3.0v per cell. I am not a lithium expert but if the batteries are discharged too low they will not take a charge.

I'm interested in this as I thought lithiums would be a neat way to go with a KX1 or K2 when I finally get around to building one.

John,

I have been using a 3-cell 2100 milliamp Li-Poly with my KX1 and am pretty pleased with it, but would consider using a 4 cell if shown it is safe (or a way to do it safe...) I guess I just don't want to be the first on to find out if it works using MY KX1 either... :>)

Please let me me know if you learn a way to do it by posting results to the reflector... Thanks!
